2007 ADDY Awards

The North Central Advertising Federation (NCAdFed) 2007 ADDY Awards Banquet was held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballrooms. The ADDYs is conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) which is a three-tier, national competition recognizing exceptional advertising and marketing created in the Greater Lafayette area in all media including print, broadcast, out-of-home and public service. All work submitted had to be published or aired between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006.
The winners were announced during an old Hollywood awards program titled "ADDYWOOD ... An Evening with the Stars". Gold ADDY award winners automatically advanced to the district competition that was held in March.
The Journal and Courier won a Silver ADDY award in district competition for their entry of Newspaper Self-Promotion.
